H&M showcased their spring 2018 Studio collection at Paris Fashion Week yesterday, and you can buy the collection now

It's not too often that H&M showcase their instantly shoppable collection at Paris Fashion Week, but when they do, it is an event not to be missed. For the brand's spring 2018 Studio collection showcase, the famed Musée des Arts Décoratif was transformed into a grand Japanese high tea room, complete with paper lanterns, a tatami-style straw mat runway and a contemporary koto performance. Attendees including Naomie Harris, Alexa Chung and Joan Smalls were instructed to remove their shoes before being treated to a sushi dinner (with free flowing sake). The collection celebrates the intrinsic minimalism of Japanese culture, with a colour palette of mostly of red, yellow, green and blue, as well as cherry blossom pink.

The brand adopted the 'see now, buy now' format that so many fashion powerhouses are turning to as a way to keep up with the changing nature of the way customers choose to shop. You can shop the H&M spring 2018 collection here. Check out the show highlights in the gallery above.
