Offred (Elisabeth Moss) is ready for a mother f*cking revolution in the second teaser trailer for The Handmaid's Tale season 2. The tagline for this season is "Whatever is silenced will clamour to be heard," which hints that Offred, Ofwarren and Ofglen are going to fight against the oppression of Gilead using whatever means necessary - however if the latest trailer is anything to go by, their efforts may not be enough.

What we do see in the mere 42 seconds is a series of flashing images including the burning of the handmaid's shameful scarlet robes; Offred clenching her fists and standing in front of a noose; as well as the silhouette of a man with a gun pointed to his head. All of this is soundtracked to the voice of Moss:  "Wear the red dress. Wear the wings. Shut your mouth. Be a good girl. Roll over and spread your legs. Yes, Ma'am. May the lord open."

The series of course is based off the novel by feminist author Margaret Atwood, and the trailer aptly premiered on International Women's Day (US), along with a poster of Moss burning the handmaid's bonnet.
