A luxury seaside resort, fire dancers and one hell of a party: would you expect anything less from the Australian launch of the Ferrari Portofino?

Drawing it's name from the charming Italian city Portofino, it seemed only fitting to introduce the Ferrari Portofino to Aussie soil at our own charming seaside location. The Italian high power vehicle made it's Australian debut on Wednesday (February 21) at Elements of Byron Resort & Spa where guests including Erin Holland, Yan Yan Chan, Nathan Jolliffe, NewsLife publisher, Nick Smith and Vogue Australia deputy editor Sophie Tedmanson had flown in for the occasion. Guests were treated to cocktails by the shore of Byron Bay's Belongil Beach before being served a custom menu utilizing fresh local produce.

The Ferrari Portofino was introduced by Herbert Appleroth, Ferrari Australasia's CEO (among a group of fire dancers) and boy does she look luxe. Click through the gallery above for an insider look at the decadent night:
