An Australian first calls for a big event: step inside the opening of Melbourne's IWC Schaffhausen boutique

IWC Schaffhausen, in partnership with luxury jewellery and watch retailer, Kennedy officially unveiled the first Australian IWC Schaffhausen boutique in Melbourne on Wednesday (March 21). Guests including IWC Schaffhausen's Global Ambassador Lewis Hamilton and local ambassadors Monika Radulovic and Alesandro Ljubicic were greeted with customised cocktails on arrival as well as a bespoke collection of canapés designed by Shane Delia, Chef and Owner of Melbourne's iconic Maha Restaurant, as they browsed IWC Schaffhausen's latest 150 Year Jubilee Collection.

The event included a private performance from Australian singer, Kate Ceberano and a ribbon cutting ceremony led by four time Formula One champion, Lewis Hamilton among IWC Schaffhausen Chief Executive Officer, Christoph Grainger-Herr and Kennedy Executive Chairman, James Kennedy.

The boutique is located at 360 Collins Street, Melbourne and was designed by IWC Schaffhausen's in-house architects. Click through the gallery above for an insider look at the store opening.
